Bolt Payments app
UX & UI UPGRADE
The Bolt Payments app was built by Crypto Convert, and allows users to pay for normal, day-to-day items with cryptocurrency. It does this by scanning the POS QR code at selected supermarkets, and opening the user's integrated crypto wallet.
The team at Crypto Convert built a working MVP, but it was time to upgrade the UX and UI of the app.
GOAL
Improving the current flow & UX
After downloading the app, using it and testing all the buttons and links, I did a quick review of the user flow and UX. The app worked well, but was a bit clunky and super functional - in other words, not geared for a new user. These were some of the original frames:
Upgrading the UI
Next, I researched some other crypto payment apps to check out what styles and colour schemes are popular, and buillt new wireframes for Bolt Payments based on those ideas. Check out the full wireframe flow in my Figma file.
